"...We are sorry, we actually want to help."

"Leave me alone!"

She bites at the air.

"We'll help you. Whatever you want us to do, we can help."

He kneels down next to her.

"I can't, I can't. I'm still like this, I'm still human, let me go!"

"I'm sorry. We don't wish to disturb you, but we notice your presence in the area and wanted to make sure you're safe and that you could get our help."

"Go away!"

"Okay, we will. Felix, help me get Isaac out of here."

Well, this was completely useless. "I'm sorry." Felix says and he helps Scott get Isaac out of there.

"Are you alright? She didn't hurt you, did she?"

"No she didn't hurt me. Honestly, I think all this managed to do was scare her and hurt Isaac. I'm so sorry, I should've thought of a better way to approach her than try saying 'hello, there is a new powerful individual in town and he wants to help you.'"

"You couldn't have known how she would react. She seemed scared of changing back, she must have been in coyote form for a while."

Felix looks nervously, it greatly contrasts with his new default of neutrality. "She seemed... off. Not sure if the term feral child is correct, but she was reminiscent of that. Do you think there is any problem if I come by later? At least with a change of clothes and food?

"You might be better than me or Isaac. I thought having werewolves there would make her more comfortable, but then I did...that. Tell her we'll stay away from her if she wants that. If you can even find her; if she thinks anything like a coyote, she won't go back to that den."

"Okay," Felix says deflated, "should I let her know she can come to you in case she changes her mind? I can't really give her an address."

"Give her my address, leave it up to her whether she gets in touch; just be yourself, you're really comforting."

"Alright, thank you."

They keep on hauling Isaac away. "Are you going to be able to take him on your bike? Or are you going to wait until he wakes up?"

"Bike should be fine, I'll get him to safety. You can watch us if you want, make sure we get there. If it would help you."

"I'll follow in case something happens anyway, and it isn't much of a detour since I needed to collect clothes and food for the girl anyway."

"Thanks for this. I know you don't like me, but I think it helped her to not feel like I was just taking her whole world away from her."

"I... you puzzle me Scott, but I don't hate you, I can not express how much I wish the best for you, your friends even for the Argents, it is just..." Felix looks away, "I'm not having an easy time."

Does he eyes look a bit teary? Maybe is just the humidity of the air.

"Is there anything I can do to help?"

Felix thinks about this and then his face melt into cold neutrality again. "I appreciate the offer. But you shouldn't worry about me. I'll take care of myself myself."

"Tell me if you think of anything."

They lapse into silence until they reach the hospital.

Isaac is quietly taken to a room where they can let him heal with both werewolf regeneration and medical attention.

That is good, Felix will say hi to Melissa and stay long enough to be sure Isaac is stable.

When he is no longer needed he will go back to his dimension, gather clothes, food and things that might be useful for someone that lives in the woods and then search for the werecoyote again.
