"Thank you.  ...Was that another superhero?"

"Another esper. Yes."

"Can you afford stationery, Swan-san?  I really have some thank-you notes to write."

"I can get you some stationery, yes." Hug hug hug.

"Thank you."  Hug hug hug hug.  "Do you think I would have died, without the esper?"

"I don't know, because I don't know exactly what went wrong."

"Do the doctors know?"

"They're not sure either, and they can't find out now because of how the esper's power works, if I understand correctly." Sigh. "You will get your note to go to school without any vaccines."

"Okay.  ...I'm sorry it didn't work out."

"I just hope you don't manage to get sick. You wouldn't be the only person allergic to something in a vaccine, and the hope is that if everyone else is immunized there won't be anyone who can transmit to you, but that's not as much of a guarantee as anyone would ideally like to have." Sigh. "Let's go home again."

"Yes, Swan-san."

She's pretty clingy on the train ride.

Understandable.

Home again. Probably Kennedy is all ice creamed out. Does she want to help make dinner?

She doesn't want to hold any knives or interact with the stove, but if there are any extremely safe steps she can try those.

Does Haru spontaneously apologize to her or anything?

Nope. He does mention that he's glad she's okay but he has to look up a point of grammar to do it.

That is acceptable, in that she doesn't know what she could possibly do except accept it.  She pushes buttons on the rice cooker according to instruction.

And they can have rice and tofu and seaweed for dinner.

Yum.  On the one hand, she just felt really bad and probably could have died, but on the other she didn't and she feels fine now, and everyone has to agree that she was right and feel bad that they were wrong, so she's pretty cheerful at the moment.  (Not that she wants Swan-san in particular to feel bad.  Swan-san has been nothing but kind to her, even while she was wrong.)

In the evening Ren puts on Princess Tutu to wind down for the night.

Kennedy falls asleep on the couch to it.

Does she wake up upon being moved to bed?

She does not.

Then she is tucked in and left in her room for about ten hours or until the chart says she should be waking up a bit early for time zone purposes, whichever comes first.
