"I'm eight. Almost nine. She is also eight but not as almost-nine as me."

"Wow.  Uh.  So, my universe has humans on a planet called Earth, and had no magic until the 1970s, at which point humans started awakening as espers and dungeons with monsters started appearing.  It - well, uh.  What's your guys' like."

"We are not from the same one."

"I am from one with espers and dungeons like you said and she just appeared and we're not sure exactly what her whole deal is, she might be a monster or just have had a lot of stuff happen to her. She's living with me and my mom now."

"Wwwwwow.  I - think I am going to have to try and get my partner in here.  Whose - uh, whose name is also Haru Swan."

"That can't possibly be a very common name."

"I think you're probably right.  What are your parents' names?"

"Ren and Charlie."

"Yeah.  Yeah.  And it's like... 2016, for you?"

"Yes. The summer."

"Okay, Haru, well, I don't fulllly know how - any of this works yet, but I think you might grow up to be an esper."

"Unless I have been butterfly effected. - or do they discover what makes espers happen and it's something that won't happen to?"

"...We have not done that.  I'm - going to get my partner -"

"Mr. Doucet?"

"Yes?"

"Ummmmm.  I want to tell you something.  Umm, later."

He opens the door and calls Haru.  - His Haru.

"Julien! What's up?"

"Heyyyyy.  So, uh, sorry to call you back so soon; I think I'm probably okay and maybe even good, but, can you come over to my apartment?  Like, right now?"

"Sure, can do, no need to apologize. Did you look at ants too hard?"

"I did not!  But uh....

"Uh, yeah, if you could just come over that would be great.  - You might already have my address but should I send it again just so it's like, right there?"

"Sure, no harm in redundancy. Caaaan I get a hint or are you presently concerned about eavesdropping spooks or what?"

"I keep trying to think of reasonable hints and coming up short, sorry.  Uh, it's either something really cool or I have gone completely mega off the deep end."
