"Kennedy appeared in my apartment and I thought a monster had done it - she did describe a monster - and then we thought maybe she was a monster but apparently a coincidence engine is at work and she's actually just from a totally different universe which is not really a fair play mystery."

"Oh my god I was so cute."

"I think it is maybe okay for you to say that in a way that is less okay for me to agree with.  Or, less polite, at least."

"I think it is okay for you to think he's cute as long as you think it for the same reasons I think it, but it is hard for you to establish that."

Tiny Haru who was about to say something closes his mouth and nods. Then he points at Julien. "WHAT is he not telling me. Besides the stuff it was obvious he wasn't telling me as soon as I found your FAQ."

"...I have no id- oh, I have a guess. But maybe you got far enough in the FAQ to have a guess too."

"Yes and I don't like it."

"Well, it's not his fault."

Julien squeezes Haru's hand.  "I guess now that my partner's here, it definitely feels like more of a sacrifice not to say that I can read minds, and am still working on controlling it, and got Kennedy a little.  Sorry again, Kennedy."

"Oh.  I don't strongly mind, Mr. Doucet."

"I'll try to make sure it doesn't happen again, anyway."

"Feels like a what now?" says Elder Haru.

"It's some kind of astrology thing which is apPARently true or at least widely believed where Kennedy is from," sighs Smol Haru, "and she thinks that the Coincidence Engine has brought an astrologically recognizable person here, in the form of Julien. She didn't think I was astrologically recognizable and she is basing it on him having the initials he has and also curly hair which is possibly racist but the Coincidence Engine is working very hard today so maybe it did that."

"...and the astrology thing prescribes what as regards things that feel like sacrifices?"

07/01.  Summer solstices care about morality as much as a spring equinox, but with the results of caring as little as the other two solqs.  Often worse - it's their passion for what's right that drives them to accomplish what's wrong.  This leads many of them to depression and suicide, either after they've committed some heinous act or out of fear that they will.

Their names always end up with a J sound in them; intentionally naming a baby to avoid this is not advised.  A D is often also present, either in the middle or last name; in rare cases, it will only manifest in making a J a hard one instead of a soft, and not be present in the spelling.  They never have straight hair if it's not genetically mandatory, and it's dark at much higher rates than the baseline population.  They trend musical, although almost none of them are known primarily for this ability.  It's rare for them to manifest multiple personalities, but almost all displays of multiple personalities are them.  They are always attracted to only one gender, at about equal rates regardless of their own.
