"I think it's very natural to be mildly curious about different people you meet, and more so the more different they are!  But if you want us to leave, we can.  Or maybe you have some questions for us?"

"It's a lovely place to live and I'd like to keep it that way by knowing plenty about whoever we're inviting into it."
